Dr Lim Chong Hee is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and later became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 1994. He furthered his training in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA from 1999 to 2001, where he trained among cardiothoracic experts.

He is a visiting consultant to the National Heart Centre Singapore and is a member of the Chapter of Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the College of Surgeons, Singapore. There, he has served in various positions, such as honorary secretary from 2005 to 2009 and chairman from 2009 to 2013. He is also a member of the Singapore Thoracic Society.

Dr Lim is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Aside from clinical work, Dr Lim was a senior lecturer and an adjunct associate professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. He continues to contribute to medical education by giving lectures and conducting workshops at local, regional and international meetings.
