Dr Kieron Lim is a gastroenterologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He has experience in caring for patients with conditions related to the oesophagus, stomach, colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder. His special interests include the assessment and treatment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, fatty liver disease, liver cancer and colon cancer screening.

Dr Lim is also experienced in oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy (OGD), endoscopic variceal ligation, colonoscopy, polypectomy, capsule endoscopy and liver transient elastography (fibroscan).

Prior to entering private practice, Dr Lim was the head of the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, National University Hospital (NUH), and medical director for liver transplantation at the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation. He was an assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and an honorary adjunct assistant professor in the Division of Liver Diseases, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York, USA.

Dr Lim has published multiple research studies in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. He is an invited reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases, Transplantation, Clinical Transplantation, Annals Academy of Medicine Singapore and Singapore Medical Journal.

He is an editorial board member of the European Medical Journal, a scientific committee member of the Asia Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Society, and an invited reviewer for the Health and Medical Research Fund by the government of Hong Kong.
